At a time when packaging industry continues its promising growth, Pack Expo 2018 – the Southeast European Packaging Exhibition, is proving that it is following the same ascending trend.

The 2016 edition confirmed and surpassed the organizers’ expectations, with a large number of foreign visitors (9.41% coming from Europe, USA, North America, Asia and Canada). Another great asset of this fair is the well-targeted audience – at the 2016 edition, for example, 87.49% of all visitors were decision-makers. On the other hand, 22.56% were visitors from the packaging industry, 20.80% of the food industry visitors, 10.10% visitors from the labeling industry and 9.15% visitors from retail/ FMCG area. All of these figures indicate that Pack Expo offers all participants unique business opportunities by presenting innovations and technologies to a well-targeted audience.

“We are determined to offer the best technological show in the packaging industry in Romania and in the region. For the 2018 edition, we want more foreign visitors and a bigger impact on the market, which will allow us to create the most important packaging exhibition in Southeastern Europe”, said Camelia Buda, Euroexpo Fairs General Manager.

Pack Expo 2018 will be held from May 16th to 19th in the largest and newest pavilion of Romexpo-Bucharest Exhibition Center. For four days, the entire B2 pavilion will turn into a 16,000-square-mega-scene dedicated to the field industry, packed with equipment for packing, dosing, filling, marking and labeling, palletizing, logistics, stacking, technologies and innovative solutions, research, packaging design, as well as the latest and most innovative labels and packages made of cardboard, paper, plastic, glass or metal and, last but not least, raw materials and consumables.

Pack Expo 2018 will be complemented by Expo Shop, the exhibition targeting all types of retailers. In the context in which the retail volume in Romania increased by 14% in September 2017 compared to September 2016 (this is the largest increase in retail volume in the European Union, according to Eurostat), Expo Shop was designed to represent the perfect mix for industry leaders: well-known local and regional exhibitors, related events, innovations, demo, well-targeted visitors specialists.
