Roland DG, a leading manufacturer of wide-format printing solutions, is proud to announce that its wide-format dimensional surface printer, the DIMENSE DA-640, has been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at this year’s Marketing Festival fair in Warsaw, Poland.
The annual Gold Medal competition recognises breakthrough innovations across the advertising and printing industries. The DIMENSE DA-640 was honoured in the “Innovative Products and Technologies” category, with the jury highlighting its modernity, sustainability, economic efficiency, and strong aesthetic value.
The DIMENSE DA-640, released earlier this year, uniquely combines full-colour output with integrated embossing effects up to 2mm thick. Using newly developed printheads, specialised media and structural ink, it allows users to produce striking, textured surfaces more easily and cost-effectively than traditional methods. With applications ranging from interior décor and hospitality spaces to creative signage and exhibition displays, the DA-640 expands design freedom whilst eliminating the need for costly stockpiles of pre-designed materials.
According to the organisers, “The selection of a given innovation was determined by features such as the modernity of the solutions used compared to global solutions, innovative technologies or solutions, specific economic advantages in terms of purchase and operation, the positive impact of the product on the environment, high product functionality, and its aesthetic appeal.”

The Gold Medal ceremony took place during the Exhibitors’ Gala on September 17, 2025. The judging panel included prominent experts and representatives from across the advertising and printing industry, including Świat Druku, the Polish Chamber of Packaging, Poligrafika, SIGNS.PL, OOH magazine, and others.
