Big news at this year’s show: Skandacor will debut the FINISHpro 3D 1623, a first-of-its-kind digital embellishment press priced at under $55,000. This inkjet-based system produces flat spot coatings and raised 3D textures on sheet sizes up to 16 x 23 inches, using a proprietary XYZ-axis process for multi-layer varnish precision. It’s a major step toward making creative finishing more accessible.

Designed for everything from business cards and brochures to packaging and book covers, the FINISHpro 3D 1623 offers flat spot UV gloss, dimensional varnish effects, and – when paired with Skandacor’s finishing equipment – raised digital foil accents too. Expo attendees will get the first in-person look at this compact powerhouse during live demos at booth 2421.
This marks a continued push by Skandacor to serve small and mid-sized printers with tools that help them compete, grow, and stand out – without making risky financial leaps.
